Shea has been working in veterinary medicine for almost 15 years, starting in general practice and later specializing in Internal Medicine at hospitals in Texas and California. Originally from the DFW area, she now lives in Albuquerque with her husband and two pugs, Poundcake and Brisket.  When not caring for animals, you’ll usually find her painting custom shoes and pet portraits or snuggling her pugs.
