Dr. Key was born and raised in Albuquerque. She attended The University of New Mexico where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and then attended Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.Dr. Key adores chihuahuas, and even has a pack of her own at home — Pebbles (the dog who started her chihuahua obsession), Nala (pictured), Brie (3 legged, 4 pound teacup chihuahua), Trident, and Pancho.

In addition to spending time with her pets, she enjoys live music, going to the gym, spending time in the beautiful outdoors, and serving at her church.

Dr. Key enjoys numerous aspects of small animal general practice but has special interests in preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and veterinary nutrition.She is especially passionate about the human animal bond and is excited to get to know you and treat the cutest member of your family!
